Frequently Asked Questions

How does the order process work?
The first step is to visit us in store or place an order via phone or email. Then the following will occur:
- A priced worksheet will be given to you for confirmation.
- Once your order is confirmed, we will get started on your artwork & email an artwork approval.
- Once your order is approved, we will book your order in for production the following week.
What are the minimum runs?

We have minimum runs of 8 items for embroidery and 10 items for printing.
What artwork file do you require for production?

It depends on the decoration process for your order. For screen printing and thermal printing, we typically require a vector file. For embroidery, you may send an image of any type as it will need to be redrawn in embroidery format
What if I don’t have a logo or a vector file of my artwork?

That is not a problem at all. We have an in-house graphic artist that can create/recreate the artwork for your order. All you need to do is show our staff a copy of the design/idea and we can quote a redraw fee.
How long does an order take?

For all in-house production such as clothing, hats and bags, allow two weeks from artwork approval. For promotional products, the timeframe is approximately four weeks.
Can I supply my own garments?

We would need to see your garments and the designs before we can confirm your order. However, we do not credit or replace supplied items if they are damaged in any way.
What sort of printing does Onya provide?

Onya Visuals has multiple techniques/applications for decoration. Your design/garment choice will determine which path to take. In a nutshell, these applications include screen printing, digital printing, thermal printing, sublimation, embroidery and transfers.
Can you print my custom colours?

If you provide us with a Pantone colour, we can use it as a guide to get as close as possible to the original. Your garment fabric and colour will play a big part in how close we can get.
